How do you get rid of the PXE-M04: Hooking bootstrap interrupt 18h? I cannot get past this BIOS message.?
I have this machine that I am working on and have just rebuilt it from Windows 98 OS to Windows 2000. All have been completed and were just about ready to return the machine to the client when all of a sudden I see this message in the bootup, "PXE-M04: Hooking bootstrap interrupt 18h". Now, I am aware of the LSA Network boot procedure, but this machine isn’t set up for that and I have removed the NIC card and have tried to boot also, and had no luck. Are there any serious tech’s out there who can come up with positives answers for this particular problem. Thanks in advance.
I’m not a serious tech but perhaps this link can get you started on the answer… http://support.ap.dell.com/support/edocs/network/intelwol/landesk.htm

Connectionless Deployment in Swimage Encore with ISO Manager
Stop by and see how easy it is to extend your support for operating system deployment to poorly or entirely disconnected nodes in your enterprise. Leveraging the ISO Manager from within the Swimage Encore console, the building blocks you have created are easily dropped onto removable media for use anywhere in a totally disconnected manner or in a hybrid, lightly connected mode. You setup your preferences once and the connection model becomes transparent!

Quad Boot Amd 64 Booting OSx86 mac os x
Just a quad boot system booting up apple’s os x.
Linux’s Grub is used as the main boot manager.
CPU: AMD64 3200+
Ram: 512 mb
Motherboard: Asus K8V
Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce FX 5700
Sound: [onboard]AC97
Ethernet Card: Network Everywhere FA311
All worked on the 1st boot except I only have audio on the left channel and thats only after I unplugged the jack from the “normal” stereo out and put it into the microphone out slot.
I also could not get the on board Ethernet to work so I found a Network Everywhere FA311 card laying around poped that in and to my amazement, it worked with no problems.
